Slate

Beautiful Slate has a story that breaks our hearts. This sweet girl was surrendered to a shelter with her friend simply because her owner was moving. Unfortunately, we were unable to save the friend she came in with, but we are determined to give Slate the happy ending she deserves. At 10 years young, Slate has plenty of energy and so much life left to live! She absolutely LOVES playing fetch and will happily greet you with a ball in her mouth, ready for another round. She is smart as a whip, loves affection, and has such a fun, playful personality. Slate may be considered a senior, but nobody seems to have told her that! She is just a beautiful girl who has already lost so much and is waiting for someone to give her the love and security of a forever home. We would love nothing more than to see Slate spend her golden years being someone's cherished companion.
